Hello! Hello Im new to the cham. forum so I wanted to introduce my cham. His name is Emilio and he is about 5-6 months old. I bought him from Petco. He has his 18’ uvb tube bulb across the top and a 75 watt flood light heat bulb, he also has a 75 watt flood that is blue and he really seems to love this light a lot. The blue light doesn’t get as warm as the normal 75 watt so I use both when its cold to bring up the temp.I have lots of fake and real plants for him to climb about and he is very active. I think he is the most fascinating reptile I have owned! Here are some pictures..ok a lot of pics .....enjoy!

This last picture was of him sleeping, he was so so cute sleeping I had to take a picture!

Hello! It looks like a very good start, but as always, there can be a lot mor climbable branches in there. They cant climb all the surfaces of the foliage, and the only living-area important for chameleons is the area of climbable branches. All other space and volume is dead to them.

Hello! Lorenamazing> I got the cage from Craigslist and I payed 25$ for it I have bought everyone of my reptiles cages from there, and would never buy retail. I even have a show tank for my bearded dragon, and I got a 60 gal. with the original store stickers on it practically brand new on CL.
Jonas77 > Thank you for your opinion and I do understand that Quote: All other [OPEN] space and volume is dead to them. I have ample branches for climbing and Emilio climbs every where in his cage especially when he is exploring around. The reason I have the one side near the bottom not filled in with branches and vines is because that is his basking area. And I like to keep it clean, if I had branches and vines there they would be covered in feces making cleaning much more difficult. If you notice I have a tray on the bottom [ which collects most of his feces] I take out every other day to clean.
