 New cham enclosure

I am getting a bigger enclosure for my veiled and I was wondering how you people with screen cages keep the humidity up. I live in Michigan so in the winter it is probably going to be hard to keep humidity up in a screen cage. Suggestions please.

Hey,
I had the same trouble but then i found this, Link It works a treat, keep it on for 5 min and it raises the humdidity by up to 30%-40%. It is a tad pricey but it gets the job done!

Also a lot of real plants in the enclosure helped me out, little ones at the top and small ones for the bottom.

Hope this helps!
Daryl

Moisture holding substrate
Live plants
Reptile Fogger
Water Drip Mechanism
Household humidifier
warm damp towel draped over the top of the screen (watching the heat lights to prevent fire of course)
misting...
automatic mister

thats all i can think of right now...

No problem, im from the UK so slightly different than the US, but you could probably find a cheapish humidifier, that would also work!?

Is there a way you can get a plexiglass aquarium and cut slits in it for ventilation

It would probably be easier just to buy live potted plants and get an inexpensive cool-air humidifier.
