 Veil chameleon

i have a male veil chameleon suppose to be 8 months old. seems fine except he doesnt show any stress colors at all. the most i have seen is a light green and yellow and thats with me holding him. any ideas what would be wrong/

The light green and yellow he displays when you hold him ARE stress/defensive colors. Knowing that, you should probably keep handling to a minimum.

Adult male Veileds aren’t generally particularly bright unless sleeping, feeling threatened/stressed or courting.
