 Ground turf

For my veiled cham I use something called fir and sphagan peat moss mix. Is this is ok, or do I need to change. I use it because it is good for holding in moisture for humidity and releases it back into the air.

It’s also good for promoting bacteria, mold and fungus growth from feces, dead insects and water retention. It’s good for impaction if your cham accidently or even intentionally (as young ones will do) ingests some. In a cham enclosure it’s good for nothing as a substrate. Lose it.
