Now i’m no expert but i can help you out with some of you’re questions.

1. They need a uvb bulb (reptisun) and a heat lamp

2/3. There’s a variety, all are hard to take care of.

4. Chameleons are arboreal, meaning they live in the trees and branches. Newspaper works fine since it wont be chillin on the ground alot anyway. Change the newspaper frequently/pick up feces.

5. Chameleons like ficus trees and umbrella plants to name a few, buy jungle vines and things like that to give it alot of places to climb high and explore, make sure the plants are bushy and shady/hold water well for drinking. Chameleons only drink moving water, so u need to get a mister (spray bottle) and a dripped to drip water onto a plant for it to drink.

6. They eat crickets, cockroaches and a variety of worms.

7. Depends on the size of the chameleon, you cannot overfeed them, just make sure it always has enough food and is content.

8. During the day keep temp above 85 and under 95, high humidity, at night no lower than 70 degrees.

Visit http://www.chameleonsdish.com/

They have alot of in depth information that will be helpful.

Hope i was able to help!
