1) Depends upon how old a chameleon is

2) LIVE prey. Well gutloaded crickets, roaches, mantids, silkworms, Phoenix worms. Wax worms, superworms, etc for treats

3) From a reputable breeder. I am not familiar with any AU breeders.

4) None make good "pets" in the traditional sense of the word. They aren’t friendly and they don’t like you or me or even one another. They mostly just sit and bask and eat, drink and poop. If you want a lizard you can handle and interact with, a chameleon is definitely NOT a good choice.

5) Do online research first to make sure you have the time, the $ and can commit to the daily care and needs of a cham. Learn the husbandry needs & differences between the montane and the tropical chameleons species and which are which. Your first step in properly caring for a cham is research.
