 PLEASE HELP

I live in Clarksville Tennessee. I found what I think to be a blue ring centipede dead in my sink stopper thingy. I keep them next to the sink on a plate sort thing. I’ve taken pictures of it but it has dulled a bit, it was originally a teal blueish green colour when I first discovered it. My question is are these things indigenous to this area? I was under the assumption they were more tropical and a Tanzanian creature. Also, is this the type thing that if there’s one there’s more? I have killed maybe 7 typical house centipedes in the last 3 weeks or so. We just moved here and I’m not liking the thoughts of having wild centipedes crawling all over me whilst sleeping. I will post pics when I get it figured out how to. PLEASE help me with this, I’m not one for creepy crawlies.....even though they kill & eat the creepy crawlies I hate most, all those legs just freak me out.....
