 Why is She Doing this?

OK, My cat is weird. I have been growing some indoor starter vegetable plants and, my cat Tiger licks them. She also plays with them. I’ve never seen her do it but my mom has. I don’t want her to kill my garden. Is she just being a cat? There are these super tiny catnip’s growing, but she likes to bat at the corn. She throws her little paws at everything. She sort of broke a stem, but I don’t really care about ONE stem. I mist them, could she be drinking the water off em? She’s an odd cat, lol.

OK. Figured it out. My sis was leaving the door open and the wind was blowing on them. Therefor she was playing with them and going in for the kill, lol.

Cats have a natural instinct to eat plants, especially garden plants. My cat likes to eat my house plants. I keep him from doing it by feeding into his instincts and buying him wheat, oat, and barley grass from the pet store for him to eat. It also helps to provide them with a well balanced cat food that is grain free. hope this helps, if not I have a few links that you can check out.
