 Best Type of Carpet Python

Hey, I really want a carpet python but just don’t know which kind to get. I want a carpet python that doesn’t get too large. I also want a snake with a good personality and temperment. I have one snake, a ball python and I just want a snake that gets bigger. I also own a variety of other animals/reptiles, including a dog, turtles, and leopard geckos. Any advice on what kind of carpet python that would suit my needs would be appreciated, Thanks.

Hi, I’ve heard good reviews on jungles and diamonds the most. But, with carpets, you have to put in the time to work with that nippy baby to get a calm adult. Good luck!

Hi, thanks for the imput I chose a jungle carpet python. At first he was really nippy like most baby carpets are but after daily handling he is really starting to calm down. He’s a beautiful snake, and I think I’m hooked on carpet pythons.
