I’m new at this, and I have a heating question.

I’m about to acquire two rosy boas, about 1.5 years old and both are of opposite sex. I’m wanting to put them in tubs and stack them so they take up less space and so I can separate them before they reach sexual maturity. So how big of a tub should I get, keeping in mind they’ll get about four feet? And how should I heat them if they’re stacked on each other? Wouldn’t that just melt the plastic and my carpet? Please help, I’m sure these are some ’newbie’ questions but I don’t know who to ask!

Heat tape works great for tubs, and i would recommend at least a 10 gallon tub each. You could buy one of those storage bins that stack, they work great for that kind of thing. There are quite a few people on here that build their own snake racks. Poke around on the snake forums, and im sure youll find some ideas :)

Good luck

Rexx

I agree Rexx. The snake forums may help.
