 Simple Hardware Question Over Here

Okay, so a long story short: I drilled a hole to fit a long tube in. I made the hole just tight enough that the tube fits in perfectly and will stay in place.

Problem is that air is leaking between the hole and tube.

Since I found the problem, I tried to use duct tape with minimal but not long-term success.

I know there’s a simple hardware item out there that I can use to put in the hole, put the tube through, that will effectively keep air from leaking. Or something with a similar ’keep air from leaking’ property that isn’t straight up glue. What is it?

I believe a rubber grommet is the thing I’m looking for. That sure didn’t need a thread.

But hey, if you have any better ideas, I’m all ears.

You could use weather stripping, you know, like the foam stuff.
