 Starting to get picky

Hi, I got a pair of baby gophers in late march, and they’ve been growing like weeds. But, now they’re becoming hit and miss feeders. They eat one week and don’t the next. Don’t get me wrong, they’re still healthy, but it’s a little agrivating since I’m wasting mice. The temps are the same and the lighting hasn’t changed.

I feel your pain, except mine has been around for 3 weeks and has not eaten, I am a bit concerned but understand he is wild caught, but it is the nicest snake I have ever met so yea, he is also very active, healthy and what not but won’t eat.., :-/

is it just me but every post I read about WC gopher/bull snakes they are very tame..... More tame than captively breed snakes.. :-) lol whatever

I got a pair of baby bulls recently and they remind me of a skinny, smaller boa. They’re so calm and incredibly tame for babies.

Yea, gopher/bulls are a very nice snake to own it seems, until they go on hunger strike and well you know how it is. Gah!
