 Let’s play "Spot The Snake"!

Here, help me find Phoenix.

Hmmmm.......

Found him! XD

Toldja he likes to burrow all the time! Sometimes I’ll think I see him hiding in his rock, but then when I lift it up all I get is a tail disappearing into the abyss - rattling all the way down.
He wasn’t happy that I took away his Twigaloo for these pointless pics. His tail was buried all the way on the other side of the enclosure and I could still hear the muffled rattling even under 2" of substrate. Grumpy-Butt.

After this photo session Mr. Redecorator proceded to "dive" again and make another tunnel, displacing that fake tumbleweed plant and littering the place with gaping holes. You see why he can’t have nice things?

Soooo anyone else have a snake that likes to play invisible?

Most of mine lie to burrow and make tunnels in the aspen, so I give them a least six inches of shredded aspen.

There is a pyro in this picture! LOL!

Yeah, phoenix can’t get enough of it! Carmen on the other hand, very rarely burrows. She’s content with just the tubes it seems.
