Nope never seen her yawn, and Ive given her a good thorough inspection and she seems to be perfectly healthy, so I think shes either a bit stressed from a new home or is going through a really long shed cycle which I read can happen if stressed

im going to order her some more rats online but have no clue what size?? ive always just bought from a guy locally but had to kill them myself since I feed F/T so I always just picked out the rats not knowing there size, plus its half the price ordering online, anyways medium 1 is 140-170grams and medium 2 is 170-200grams, was thinking it would be one of those, hard to tell because no feed site has pictures that really show there size, any help? hope someone can tell what size she needs from her pics....

I just ordered from rodent pro. and i love them. I did pick them up at a show i was at and i recommend getting them from show then ordering. From the pic i would say she can eat medium to large rats. but without seeing her i am not 100% sure. what do you feed her now?

I feed her rats right now just no clue what size they are classified as since I just pick them out at a friends that breeds them and have no way of weighing them. Im switching to a feeder rat breeder in Vancouver because they will come dead already and will be much cheaper, just really cant decide what size....think she could handle a 200gram rat? I wish they had picture references so I could see how big they are

take her with you to a petstore and look at there rats and compare size. If you can the rat should be just a little bigger then the fattest part of her body. is she full grown?

not full grown and that wont help because I still wont know the size of the rat in the pet store, Im pretty sure she’ll eat medium and if they are small I will just have to feed her more often until the next batch

well normally at petstore they will have them labeled small, medium, or large. my guess would be small to medium rats.

my petstore doesnt even carry live rats and the frozen ones are all thrown together :P I live in a small town, Im just gonna go with a medium, I fed her the last rat I had last night and Im guessing it was a small and you cant even tell she ate. Watched a video on feeder rats last night and figure she could go for a medium or large so I will go with the smaller one

A friend of mine gave me like 60 rats for $20 that are the right size, still don’t know what size they technically are but that’ll last a while
