My Kenyan sand boa has been extremely sluggish lately and he did not eat this week. He is about to shed and it has been fairly hot around here the last couple of weeks. I am wondering if I should be worried? My milk snake had mites recently and I was treating both snakes with snake oil. I also placed a mite and tick repellent (marketed for bird cages and reccomended at Pets Plus) near both their cages. I am worried that I made him sick. Is it normal to get sluggish in the heat or during a shed? Any advice would be appreciated!!!
