Temp: always about 80-85 humidity: stays at 60 The gut said thats where i wanted... Is that right? If not please tell me where it should be and how to get it there.. Thanks for all the help. |

First off, remove the heat rock as soon as you read this. Boas(and snakes in general) have very poor sense of heat on their bellies. A heat rock gets WAY to hot and WILL(not might but will) burn your snake severly. Second, the temp is fine for the cool side. However you need a way to make a heat gradient so your snake can thermoregulate. Get an under tank heater or a ceramic heat emitter and put it on one side of the cage.(on the outside of course) The warm side temps should be around 90. Your humidity is fine where it is at now. Also how are you reading the temps and humidity? Are they dials, stick ons, or digitals? Randi |
