They don’t need any special lighting. I use CHEs and Radiant heat panels controlled by proportional thermostats. I also us flew-watt under the cages that are also controlled by the stats. Since my substrate is a very large tray with shallow water with or with out paper towels, humidity is not an issue. Most of the time the heating equipment is on very low or off as my room is temp controlled as well. The stats are equipped with night drop, so everything is pretty much automatic.

 Emerald tree boa questions

Sorry missed the feeding part. That depends on the age of the emerald. Neos through about the ontogenetic change are fed about every 10 days. From that point to about two years I feed on a 10-14 day schedule. Adults are fed about every 21 days. That is what works for me. Food size is upped with age as well. They start out on hopper mice as neos and move to rat pups when I feel they are ready. 1-1/2 to 2 years, rat crawlers and from that point growth determines when they move to small rats and depending on size at breeding age (6 years for females, 5 years for males) they may stay on small rats or be moved to medium rats. I feed no larger than mediums, but most of my adults are on small rats.
