 Sand boa sloughing Q?

My female sand boa is in the middle of sloughing at the moment, I was just wondering if it is unusual for them to slough in bits or should it be like most snakes in 1 bit, and would a slight bath be a good idea to help?

They should shed in 1 piece. Coming off in pieces means the humidity is too low for the shedding. When I know mine are about to shed, I add a humid hide for them. Take a paper towel and soak it in warm water. Put the paper towel in a small container and add the snake. Let it stay like that for 20 mins. Then let the snake crawl through your hands. That should take care of any left over stuck shed
