What type of red tail do I have? 
I thought it was columbian, the saddles went inwards most of the way, but near the end on some saddles there is a point stickin out. Does this mean it isn’t a columbian and it will not obtain the size of a columbian but may grow to be smaller? Here are some pics, not sure if you can tell from them though.

Yeah I can see what you mean with the saddles. The first bit of them have some widow’s peaks. My best guess would be it’s a bcc x bci cross(like a suriname and a columbian or something), a strange columbian, or something else. I’ve seen some peruvian boas(bcc) have saddles like that(part widows peak, part ovals), so that could be a possibility as well. lol, I dunno if I helped, or complicated things more. Sorry I can’t help too much.

Columbians generally get smaller than BCC’s...so I have no clue what your talking about, and I dont know why you would care so much anyways. They don’t all get 12 ft. long, you know.

Both of My Colombians have some widows peaks on the saddles closer to the head. I think that You will find that most Colombians have them.
