#1806768 Robi View Profile	Male or female? i’m currently on the market for a second red tail, and i’m torn as to whether i should get a male or a female. i currently have a male who is almost 6’ long, and enjoy his company very much, would the temperment or habits be any different with a female? one of my friends has a 9’ female who seems very gentle, but clearly much bigger in length and gerth, is that the only difference? i just wanted to consult a crowd who is experienced in snakes of different breeds, sizes, and of course genders, because i want to make sure all my bases are covered. thank you for all help in advance.

But that doesn’t mean if you get a female that it will be calm like your friend’s. Both male and female boas can be nice or nasty or somewhere between.
