 RI being contagious ?

Would anyone know if a respiratory infection can be passed through my snakes ? I had my BRB in a different room and made sure of no cross handling with any of them but my ball python is awfly sick now and i dont know how to fix this issue.

RI is very contageous. Before and after handling of any snake with RI you need to thoroughly clean yourself, I would even have a change of clothes before going around any other snake.

i even showered in between them to had them in different rooms and still my ball python has it now im bleaching everything tomorrow and am fixing the problem and hoping it never comes back

hmm, you might have breathed in some... orr..

Are you sure your ball python has perfect husbandry? Too low of temps and too high humidity can caue RI in them. Also, lots of stress can do it, too.

yep i had everything checked, and the respiratory infection healed quickly i had all my snakes go to a new vet yesterday and everyone got the A ok luckly minus the fact my ball python has a soft head i found that funny both vets had to look at them i almost started to cry while waiting for the other vet to come in i was terrified but they said that it should be fine. And they were passing my red tail around the room they were amazed by his color he has a very pretty pink/peach color to his face and side i call him my little drag queen because she is so pretty.

Bahahahaha!! that’s hilarious. I am glad you got them all checked out. I used to have a red tail that was Very high pink, he was a peruvian. I miss him! I will get another red tail when I get the money to support one.

they are just so incredible my ex bought her for me he spent like 350$ on her i think its a little pricey but it was so worth it she is the prettiest one i have seen. i thought the pink would fade as she grew but its not at all its turning more peachy i will have to get a camera one of these days and take pictures of her. her tail also turns a beautiful blue when hits the light.
