um, well...

Was your impulse buy an uneducated one? How much do you know about the care of hese guys?
What ahould the warm side temp be?
What should the cool side temp be?
What should the humidity be?
How will you accomplish that?
Howwill you measure the temps and humidity?

etc,etc...

Well impulse is another way to say ’instantly fell in love with" huh? And who is to tell you what not to love? Man im deep....hahaha
Ok, I will tell you the main reason most rainbows die. HUMIDITY! Unlike other boas, they require a higher humidity but lower temps. Some might not agree but I keep my humidity at 70+ all the time. during sheds I keep it at 90+. Dont let temps go above 90. Other then this, they are the most amazing boas ever. So easy to keep and feeds great! Ohh yeah...they pee alot....

Hi, good to hear about the health. Well I have never misted my BRB cage before. I keep her in a glass tank with wooden top with small holes drilled on the top. Just that alone keeps the humidity at about 50+ but if you put the water bowl over the heating area, that will bring your humidity up. You want it humid but not wet so I dont like misting or spraying. If you use mulch as substrate, I hear you can spray it and can tell when it gets dry. It holds humidity really well and you will only have to add water once a week. But its your choice.

thanks i think i have the humidity just fine now its at 70 - 80% but had my first feeding today and dummy i was a little intemidated he was very aggressive striking everything i dont have a snake stick because my ball and red tail boa dont need them they are both very good eaters and once done allow me to pick them up and bring them right back to there cage this one i had to put a towel over him to bring him back and the minute he got to his cage he went straight to the hide box and is still there now 1 hour later, hoping in a few days i can take him out and he will be better
