 What age is good to breed

For a male and a female anyone know the youngest age for each gender?

Males can generally be breeding at 18 months of age, females upwards of 3 yrs for the most part is when many are good enough size to go along with their ages.

thanks man,i have a 2year old female at a lil over 5 feet and a almost year old male at 36 inches. im thinking they should be ready to do the nasty next fall lol does that sound about right?

i just got the 5 foot in her new home for now a 30 gal,i had her in a 20 high for a week n couldnt fit a hide in it now she has a hide n some fake leaves around,i think this tank will be good till after the winter for her....
im watching her checking out her new home shes great

I would house the female in an enclosure that is at least 4 feet long and around 2 feet deep.Think about it 6 foot female and a 4 1/2 foot male in the same cage for 2 months
