Hey Everyone;

I picked up 3 rabbits for my retic the other day and one was a lop eared,so I kept him and a female.Long story short my female cat is in heat and got into the cage.The female rabbit took off and that left the
male lop ear and the female cat.I have never seen a cat and rabbit mate but they have been at it for 3 days now.Iam pretty sure it wont happen but could I get babies?They have put a zebra and a horse together and made a zorse.What do you think?

" the cat somehow got into the cage...and they’ve been doing it for 3 days" sounds more like you put them together on purpose to see what would happen. Why would you do that to your cat?

It wasn’t a serious question. you are talking about two completely different species, completely different order. If you asked what the outcome of a house cat and maybe a puma, I would probably give you an answer. Even if the rabbit and cat did produce progeny, none would be viable. That is even a "if pigs can fly" scenario. The real probability is the chemical receptors of the egg, would not recognize those of the sperm. Therefore, not even producing a fertile egg. The odd cat would produce infertile ova and bleed it out. period.

Say There

I really did not know and after I got those type of answers from whoever I had to ask my AA sponser and I got a serious answer.I have some really interesting pets.I have a cat that sleeps right next to a 4 foot iguana.I also have a video of 2 of my cats eating then my Iguana walks over and all three of them are eating out of the same dish.When they are done they kiss and o their own ways.My iguana had the run of the house.Yeah I know cat food is bad for iguanas.One day I will post some.

Hey Methods75

If you give them cat food everyday it can correct me if I am wrong it can screw up the liver and kidneys but once or twice a month wont hurt them at all.

Catfood hurts their kidneys and liver because Iguanas do not need as much protein density as cats in their food.
And Im sorry you were offended by my comments, but really, leaving the cat in their 3 days...? Come on now... thats just not right. And a cat and Iguana sleeping together isnt that unusual- its clearly the warm spot and they are used to sharing space.

and Amie- that was HILARIOUS! (Im sure even Jon thought so and cracked up)
