 Boa making bubble in her neck then opening her mouth??

Just got a female orangetail ghost boa shes only about a month old, shes been agressive and is now making a bubble under her chin then opening her mouth? Why is she doing this none of my other boas have done this.

Orangetails are known for being quite defensive when they are still little.

When she’s opening her mouth, is she hissing? Could be that she’s just puffing herself up to appear bigger hoping that you’ll leave her alone.

Does the "bubble" occur when she’s just flicking her tongue? Could be the muscles that control the tongue flexing and contracting.

Does she make any clicking or wheezing sounds? Those sounds combined with a throat bubble would suggest a respiratory issue.

She doesnt do it when flicking her tongue, and I havent noticed any type of sound when she does it no hissing or wheezing I will listen harder when I get home n get her out. I really hope shes just trying to make herself look bigger. Thanks so much.

I would defiantly be thinking RI ,,,,,, ..... i recently picked up two salmon boas from calgary and the lady said that hey loved there water bowl i looked them over took them home and just one day i seen that she had a small bubble so called my vet and told him i need some baytril and away we went never had another issue

but some sighns to look for is her breathing through the sides of her mouth....

of course the small popping or wheezing mucus and even deep short breaths
