Quick question  Will red-tails stress out in a over sized tank like a ball python would???? like can you just get a 4 foot tank and put a baby boa in thier????

Quick question  Can they stress? YES... do they stress as much as the BP... no. if you MUST use such a big tank... then be sure to provide plenty of places to hide... you know... lots of greenery.... flower pot saucers(with holes cut in them) turned upside down "junk it up" as we say here on RZ...and you still would need to maintain proper temps and humidity.

Quick question  I forgot to add... once you’ve put him in there... just leave him alone for a week before you feed him.. or handle him... just spot clean and offer fresh water. After 1 week...offer an appropriately sized prey item...then leave him alone again for atleast 2 to 3 more days. This will give him more time to acclimate...reducing stress added stress of 1..being moved...2 being fed/handled.

Quick question  Thanks susan c..i asked because i currently own a ball python but was am in a process of getting a red tail..but since i know that they grow so big i was thinking of just getting the 48 enclosure from the get go..
