#1809940 Oxymoron View Profile	GLEE! i have had a texas luc rat snake for 1.5 years now, about 4feet and its as tame as a kitten. this is my first snake and since i had one i now decided that they are my favorite pet and would like another. well, i wanted something bigger, and after months of research i finally decided what to get. and it happens to be a boa constrictor. i know, someone is going to tell me that im immature and have no idea what im doing, but i am responsible and have all the resources to keep one, i know what im in for, 12-16 dollars a week a 6X3 foot tank and lots of caution handling a 50 pound slab of lean muscle. any how, its a special coloration, they said the name but i forgot, it was bred by a experienced reptile store owner. its bred with a albino and something else. i was told it was a female, i think it is as it seems a little large for only eating twice in its life. so one question is how can i know for sure the sex without hurting it? and will a 18 day old snake have spurs? i will upload images soon.
