 Can’t figure it out

I’m Building a cage for a new boa dimensions are 6x4x4 fully insulated tile floor plexiglass front but my problem is I can’t figure out what to use to sheild my 2x4ft heat lamp opening that won’t burn or cause nose rub or anyother abrasions any sugestions would be appreciated

not speaking out of expiriance, but maybe VERY fine nylon screen backed by heavy duty fishing net?

Nylon isn’t a good choice it doesent let uvb through I know uvb isn’t needed but I think it makes a temperment change my common boa was finicky then I started to use uvb and he calmed right down
