 FEEDING MISTAKE

i was feeding my nic and i came into a problem when he released from the rat. he was bitten by the the rat on th side of the neck. usually when i see that there is not a good strike i slip my snake hook into the rodents mouth i couldnt get it in there this time. what do i do ? just take the snake into the vet and go fromt there or is there anything i can do from home ?

 FEEDING MISTAKE

It depends on how bad the bite is. If it is really bad a vet visit is in order. If not put some triple antibiotic ointment on it(without the pain killers.) Maybe some pics would help us. But when is doubt take it to the vet.

i tried the ointment i guess i was just an over concernd owner which i guess its a bad thing. the wound looks very minor now and is healing great it has not stopped his activity nor affected temperment. thank you the rey for now i will stunn the prey and most of all randy for the ointment suggestion. i will post some pics as soon as i can get a few spare minutes
