 Boa constrictor water

I have a question:
you guys use normal sink water for your boas? a breeder told me that water from sink is not good for boas, cause, the chlorine and ammonia presence.
Should i use a product for water?

if you’re concerned, just leave the water out for a day or two and the chlorine will evaporate from the water. i keep fish and my mom has a ton of plants, and it’s necessary to do for both. i’m not sure if it poses any threat to reptiles though, it’s never really been a problem for me

If it’s safe for you to drink, it’s safe for your snakes :)
