#2271765 Spikey1 View Profile	Rubber Coated Spoon So after many months, the inevitable finally happened and my finger got nipped while hand feeding Spikey a piece of banana so I decided to dig out one of my son’s old Gerber rubber coated baby spoons to finish off his "treat time". He bit down really hard on the spoon a couple of times. He didn’t take off any pieces or anything like that,but is it safe for me to continue feeding him this way or is there anything in the rubber coating that might hurt him? If it’s something saucy, like apple sauce or baby food, then i would just put it on top of the salad like dressing, or in a little bowl. I don’t think the rubber itself would hurt him, but chomping down hard on the spoon could hurt his teeth. Edel
