 BEARDED DRAGON HEAT LAMP TEMP?

I have a thermometer on the side of my beardies cage it usually stays at about 80-85. Is this right? Ive read that it needs to stay at about 100, but ive had my bearded dragon scince she was a tiny baby and its been about 11 months tht shes had this temp and shes been doing fine. So if anybody knows the proper temp plz tell me! Also, how do you tell if they are male or female, i was told mine was female because she was the smallest of the eggs tht hatched but im not sure if this is right.

 BEARDED DRAGON HEAT LAMP TEMP?

Hi there,

Those temps are right for the cool end of the tank, basking temps need to be 110-115f, especially for younger beardies. Temps for adults can be 95-105f, as long as you do not use a loose substrate...

This should help you with sexing her...
