So I go to petsmart to pick up a small thing of crickets while I wait for the shipment from NYWORMS. I’m listening to an assoicate who is selling a mother and her son a baby BD, they move into the aisle and ask what is required.

First substrate;

If anyone tells you to put your beardy on calcium sand here, they’re just trying to sell you something. It will kill your baby, reptile carpet or paper towels work.

Second heat rocks; just stay away, it will burn your bd. Try an undertank heater and lamps.

On and on, this guy did what I’ve always wanted to do. Work at these petstores and stirr the petowners right!

Now On to my question.
I was informed that there were cases where kingworms weren’t chewed right their heads would eat at a bearded dragon’s insides. Is that true? I try cutting off the heads but he just wont eat them if they arent running from him.

Yes, I was on the edge of tackling this guy to the floor. Not only that but I noticed in their new display of baby beardies there was reptile carpet and not sand! So I’m planning on cloning him and putting him in every store.

Did they tell you this at a pet store also? LOL...no it’s not true, if the beardie doesn’t kill it with all that chomping first, the digestive juices will, lol...no worries...

gonna say any time that iv seen my dragon eat his veggies. oh god i think about man what if that was my fingure or if that worm was me. it would suck cuz all you hear is crunch crunch crunch. *squirting guts*
