 I has plan :D

Well, we all know that i want to breed my two beardies.

There was a flaw in that plan, my corn was taking up too much space, so i attempted to sell him on in replace of an incubator. Well... thought crossed my mind today (after many failed attempts of selling my corn) that he needs a new viv anyways. But really, he doesn’t need a viv as big as the one he’s in now, so a smaller one will do. A smaller one? I thought! With a smaller one, another viv could be purchased to fit on top!

My! What an excellent idea!!! More room for another viv in my room! And what could i do with that viv? I have been wanting to breed my beardies... so now i’ll have the chance!

Plan of action!

1. Purchase 1 4ft vivarium £110.
2. Move snake and destroy the old 4ft x 4ft (really is on it’s last legs)
3. Purchase another 4ft vivarium to sit on top of snake
4. Purchase an incubator
5. Breed!

So... while my plan gets underway, i’m off to do some research! XD I cant wait to get started!!!

I would post this on the community forum, there are alot of snake people over there, lol, i myself know nothing about snakes, lol..good luck...

not really a post about snakes... just a ’hurrah i can start planning to breed my beardies’

But... since having posted this message and having a fumble around the net on getting me started with breeding... i’ve changed my mind about breeding them... it just appears way too expensive and i dont have that kind of money yet.

So i’m going to look at what other reptile i can fill the extra space with XD

I see, i thought you were wondering about what size tank for your corn, lol...yea, breeding is very costly, and you need lots of tanks, heating/uvb’s, and all those little mouths to feed? wow!! lol...i would like to breed mine next year as well, i’m just afarid of my female getting injured as our vet is 8 hours away, so idk if i will take the risk...

It would be really nice to breed... but yes, very costly! Esp beardies because they are such greedy little things!!!

Maybe it would be nice for the distant future... but for now i think i’ll just concentrate on getting my next addition ^___^ hopefully a pair of cresties

I have a pair of Cresties, and they are the sweetest little critters! lol...i have a male/female and hoping they will breed soon, they are about the age to do so right now, so have to wait and see i guess, lol...these guys do not need alot like beardies also, they are so easy to care for...
