For a baby you feed them as many live feeders as they can eat in a 10-15 min period 2-3 x a day. For an adult for live feeders you feed them as much as they can eat 2-3 x a week, as to much protein is not good for adults.. Baby and adult should be offered fresh greens every day, and live feeders should consist of crickets, roaches, and silkworms as the main food, and for treats they can have butters, waxies [keeping waxies as a very rare treat] Phoenix worms are also a good feeder, and supers for adults only... For a great list of greens, go to beautiful dragons.com, and click on nutrition content.. Nancy. |

but the thing to remember is this.... whether you’re keeping beardies... snakes... cats..dogs... don’t get them if you haven’t done your research... can’t afford proper housing...food/treats....vet bills...etc. Atleast this person had the good sense to come and ask before he just went out and bought a pet.... nothing ticks me off faster than for people to buy a pet... commit to it... see how much work it is.. and then want to get rid of it. Animals are not disposable. Kudos to you for asking before purchase! GOOD JOB! ~smiles~ Susan |
