there are plenty of youtube videos that show you how to train your pet to drink its water. iv only watched mine do it like 2wice in a awhole year. weather or not he does it when im not home is another thing so i wouldnt worry to much about that. as long as you are giving him the batsh that he needs he doesnt really need to drink it visabily he will asorb most of the water needed to survive through baths and veggies so make sure he has veggies and at least 2 baths a week.

The best way is through a bath if your not SURE he is drinking. he will get a lot from the greens that should be fed daily as well.
My adult... he will walk over and stick his head under water like he is drowning! It is funny... and he drinks soooo SLOW its crazy. SO, he def likes me to leave a full big bowl at all times. He will drink about 4x a week. The babies I let water drip off my finger as a drop, and they just suck it right in or lap it up. My girl will drink from the bowl... but I have to hold and tilt it till the tip of her nose touches it. Other then that... she will start drinking AS SOON as I put her in her bath.
So... all mine are different....but if you leave it in there for him to choose... and give him his bath regularly, he should be fine. :)

to get him to drink use an eye dropper to drop water on his nose whitch will trigger drinking. repeat daily until he gets ocustomed to it. then use the Eye dropper and drop the water in the dish to get his attention then take the eye dropper and keep moving the water around until he figures it out.

Use your regular bath tub. The water should be luke warm and shallow enough for your dragon to easily keep its head above the water.

Some people use the sink, meanwhile some people use the bathtub. I myself use the bathtub. I fill the tub up with luke warm water. I make the shallow end to about his shoulders, and then the other end is deep. You want to make it easy for them to stand with their head COMPLETELY out if they want. Some people put a wash cloth, towel, mat, boat (LOL) or something in there in case he wants to be out or have grip. Not all dragons like water, but it is VERY good for a couple reasons.

I use the sink simply because they ALWAYS poop in the bath and it’s much easier and faster to refill a sink than a bath tub when they do! LOL! They’re all different with drinking like another person said...but usually they will stick their nose right in the water and you can see them drinking. I have one who SWIMS in her bath. Puts her front arms straight back and swims underwater, lol, it’s so funny!

I use one of these, i do not like the idea of them pooping in my bath tub, lol...you do not have to use one this big, but mine LOVE to swim, so i give them room to swim...
