Hiya im new :)
I have got myself 2 fabulous beardie dragons (babies) around 7 weeks old. But i think they are a bit too small for there age etc 1 is around 4-5" and mine is 3-4" mine has eaten around 3 crickets in 48 hours and the other has eaten around 5 in that time. We was told by the breeder they are on stage 4 crickets (medium) which look massivly big for my lil baby. Im not sure how to add pics but if i figure out i will post.
Hellllllllllllp
Lol

Welcome to the forum and beardie ownership. I think med. sounds a little big too. I would think small crickets would be fine for them. They will probalby be stressed for a few days before they start eating good. Offer them crickets 3 times a day though-all they can eat plus veggies-cut to the size between their eyes. beautiful dragons.com (no space) has a great food list. Again Welcome!

I will agree. I would NOT feed them medium size crickets, specially if they are in fact 7 weeks.
They need pin head crickets. Small. The rule of thumb... is ’no bigger then the space between the eyes’. This goes for crickets, greens, anything you feed to them. I cut my greens and veggies even smaller.(im a VERY worried mom--lol)
You want to offer them crickets (staple at this age) 3x a day. They wont always eat all three times, but offer it and let then decide. Mine typically eat 2x. Dust with plain calcium daily, and D3 and muti once weekly...or it could vary with the D3. I think everyone does it different, not right or wrong.
Proper lighting.... UVA & UVB....and lots of LOVE.
I hope this helps and covers it for it! :)
