When will their "real" appetite start?
start eating normally like everyone elses beardies? I know they say baby - juvie beardies are supposed to have hearty appetites. I got mine sunday and they still dont eat that 25-50-100 amount of crickets. Today, i kinda had to flick crickets in front of him for him to eat, he ate 3-4... The baby one, (sister’s) whos about 1 month old (5inches) ate about 30-35 in one feeding, i just put hinm in with the pin heads and he just goes berserk chasing them. Mine does seem that interested. Before he kinda did. But he seems bored.. Some of you may or may not know, but i have all the right stuff for my beardies. I have the basking temps from 105-115f. Cool side 80-87 I give them about 1 hr sun everyday, have the reptisun 10.0, but not hooked up. Calcium No d3 5 days a week, multivitamin, D3 once a week. So my question is, Do i need to worry? Will mine start his " hearty " appetite soon? I hope so, i worry when he only eats 3-4 crickets and some greens a day. Seems so few compared to those who eat 25-70! HELP PLEASE! thanks/ Lisa |
