Need help! Don’t know if pregnant.

I have 2 Bearded Dragons, I know for sure 1 is female. I THOUGHT the other was also female. Turns out its a male. they were in the same cage for I think 3 weeks. I haven’t noticed a full breeding session, but i saw the male go for it. I’ve never had eggs before so I want to prepare just in case. what should i do if they have eggs? (there separated now) I see people put eggs in little containers. What kind of flooring should i use? Whats a good incubator that i can reply on? (most i’ve found dont have great reviews) My dragon is a little fat I’ve noticed so i’m trying my best for her care. Any info will help. never breeded before.

Hi,

You can get an incubator at any feed store. Just get the Styrofoam kind that they use to hatch chicken eggs.

I will bump it up. Read Breeding Beardies 101 by Heartmountain.

I read the forum and it helped a lot. only question i have now is, is there a specific type of dirt i should get for the lay box?

Hi,

You can get some potting soil, just make sure it has no chemicals. The bag itself will say it. It is usually a mix of vermiculite and soil.
