 Pregnant Bearded dragon

Hello all,

This is the first time I’ve ever had a pregnant dragon so I was wondering, how long before I should place her in the laying box if I can feel the eggs in her belly with my finger? I have a 40 gallon rubbermaid with mixed top soil and sand about 10" thick on one side down to 5" on the other with a heat lamp on it. I just noticed the eggs today. Thanks for your input.

You can put her in the lay box when she starts digging and acting restless. A female will generally lay their eggs 4-6 weeks after a successful mating. She may also slow down on her food consumption and may stop all together. Good luck hope your prepared for some hungry babies

Yeah, even though food consumption will slow down, you should still leave it food even though
