What do I do about this????
I bought 1,000 supers for the first time the other day cause I can’t get pinkies for my female who laid 16 eggs about 22 days ago and I wanted her to fatten up she looked so so so bad after laying those eggs, anyway she has always been a good eater, welllll I started giving her like 3-4 supers a day and now she just sits and waits on them and will go hungry she won’t touch any of her other food at all, no salads, no roaches and no crickets not even fruits... I’m really worried I’ve tried tricking her by making her think she was getting a super and slipping a roach in her mouth but she caught on!
How do I get her off the supers, she is about to lay eggs again she needs to be getting alot more and better foods than she is?????

What do I do about this???? Ok...easy m8...get the pellets (the zoo made ones preferably...they r the best) and then you put the supers in the food dish...she will take bother supers and other food...dont know how u get her totally off the supers...but that’s how I got mine onto the pellets. They will pick up the other foods along with the supers.
Also, remember, she is going to lay eggs real soon and some females stop eating...she will try to get as much fattening food as she can in. Also, if I were u I would take her to the vet before and after she has laid...the sad looking part worries me...only times my beardies have been "sad" is when something is wrong. So ja...just my opinion :P

What do I do about this???? There is nothing wrong with her eating supers...many breeders have stated they are feeding supers as staples now....OK I know it is different than what I have learned in the past but if thats what she wants and you can dust her supers with vitamins and calcium..then go for it...I agree with the vet visit...Mine would never eat the pellets...I wish That they would for the protein intake but they won’t...give her the supers...worry about getting her back to her regular diet later....Take good care Beth
