 Beardies storing sperm?

So my beardie female layed her first clutch of eggs on July 11th. Male and female have been separated ever since then and eggs have been in incubator. In just the past few days my female became restless and began digging everywhere, just as she did right before she layed last time. Gave her a lay box before I went to the movies this evening, came back and had a new clutch of 16 eggs. She layed eggs on July 11th, and without coming in contact with my male, has layed another clutch here on August 15th. It has only been 25 days since her first clutch. What’s going on? Is there any chance these are fertile eggs? I have heard of some species of animals storing sperm so as they can reproduce several times without having to mate again. Are beardies this way? Only difference I can see between this batch and first batch is that the eggs are slightly smaller in this new batch. Thanks for info in advance.

Hi beardies can lay eggs for upto a year, so prepare yourself for lots more egg.Babs

this is why people hate back yard breeders,
yes they can store it, they can lay one clutch every 25-30 days for te next year.

lol im not normally harsh on people doing that but anybody intending to breed or already breeding should know that,
i am technically a backyard breeder as its not my buisness and so on but iv been breeding them since i was 9 years old (dad helped at first) and im still doing it, so i guess i am backyard but atleast i do it properly lol
