 She’s digging

i got up to feed my babies this morning and she was in dig mode. i think when i get home from work i will have eggs. i picked up a incubator. So my ? is how moist should i make the vermiculite. and how deep should the eggs be placed into it. Is there any thing else that i should do or get to properly care for these eggs.also how deep of a container should they be in?

The eggs need to be incubated at a temperature of 80-85 degrees fahrenheit. Don’t ever let it get higher than 90 degrees. The vermiculite should be given as much water as it can easily absorb. The eggs shouldn’t be buried in the vermiculite, just make a small indentation with your thumb and put the egg in it.
