 HELPPPPPPPPP, EGGS!!!!!!!!

Ok I just asked a question on here today about my dragons..

Well a new question and I’m totally shocked and freaking out..

I was told to put a laybox in with my female she was just bred 18 days
ago and I didn’t feel or see any eggs well I added the box she jumped
in it and 20 minutes later I had 16 eggs..
I am so stressing right now..

The eggs are very tiny, but white and no dimples or anything.
They are pretty soft though are they supposed to be hard?

I took a flashlight and shinned down through the eggs I see little red
ligns are those veins and does that mean the are fertile?

OMG isn’t 18 days toooo soon?

Thanks guys..

Bearded dragon eggs are always soft, so yours are fine. Egg-laying usually occurs about a month after mating. Your eggs are a little early, but not so early that you need to worry about it.

That’s not unheard of and she could have been inseminated earlier if she’s been with a he for a week. Veins usually mean fertile eggs, yes. You’ll know for sure in a week as infertiles usually sort of look dead and sometimes spoil quickly. Fertile and live eggs grow and stay white. The shells are sort of papery-leathery, not hard like a chicken.

Also, make sure you aren’t turning the eggs over. Keep them upright, the way they were laid.

Good luck!

Thanks guys, I’m excited today, it’s been 2 days last night we candled the eggs and they are full of red veins, they are all still pretty and white with no yellow or dimples, so I take it that is good right?
