Hey,

60 days is perfectly fine and normal. Normally the eggs will start to sweat and shrivel if and when they are ready to hatch.

It usually takes the babies a few days to start eating. They have just absorbed the eggs sack, so their tummies are full. Offer the crickets and salad anyway just in case. A lot of times they will be scared of the crickets, so don’t throw too many in the tank at once. Always take the crickets out at night or they will chew on your dragons.

Check their bellies, and if they still have the egg sack attached, then leave the baby in the incubator on a moist paper towel. Once the egg sack is absorbed, then you can transfer to the tank (once the babies are alert).

Yes, mist them gently. It takes them a few seconds to realize it is water. They will start lapping the water up from their noses or from the little puddle on the floors. Keep misting them until they stop drinking.
I usually take a lit from a Tupperware container and put a little water in it. Spray it so they know it ’s the water, and some will lay in it if they need to, some will drink, and some will just run through it. lol

You should put no more than 3 babies per 20 gallon. I keep them in 75 quart sterilite containers, three per enclosure.

Edel
