 Help

hi,
that could be an egg sack. we were lucky enough not to encounter this so i don’t have personal experience.
from reading other posts this little dragon should stay in the incubator on damp paper towel for 2 or 3 days to absorb the sack.
hows the others all doing?
good luck.
cath

 Help

Leave it alone. There’s a set of events that take place when a lizard hatches. Mainly, the ability to breathe via the blood vessels just below the shell have to shut off and disconnect and the baby converts to using it’s lungs. This is the reason you don’t help babies out of their eggs too. If it’s too soon, they will die from either bleeding from the umbilicus (belly button), or are not ready to breathe yet (in the case of people slitting eggs open. Let nature take it’s course for better or worse.
