Male or female hi, i have an adult male bearded dragon and an unkown baby bearded dragon, there cages are right next to each other and the baby bearded dragon waves its arms up and down at the male every day for a long time. I was wondering if females do that to male bearded dragons or do males do that to each other to show dominance?

when that happens it means that the male is showing dominance because when a female or its head than it is attracted i have a book and i can tell you exactily what that means

Male or female Arm waving is a sign of submission. Most baby beardies do this when they see an adult. It’s their way of saying "I’m just a baby. Please don’t hurt me!". This behavior will most likely stop when the baby gets older. In the mean time, I suggest that you put something like a piece of cardboard between their cages so that the baby can’t see the adult. It can be very stressful for the baby to always be afraid of the big dragon next door.

Male or female It has nothing to do with sex as mentioned. It’s a submissive gesture to prevent a physical fight. I’d get them out of view of one another also. Sometimes adult dragons armwave also if they know a dominant (usually male) lizard is welling up to attack/challenge them and they don’t want any part of it.
