Adult Male Digging  Hello all I have had my male beardie since valentines day this year when i bought him they said he was a yr old anyway he has not ever dug like he is doin now....i was just wonderin what reason male beardies dig? any advice? Thanks in advace :)

Adult Male Digging  yeah, mine does the same. I have had him for several years, and on occasion he will go into a digging spell. I think it is normal behavior, and more common in males. Mine is about 6 now. He is a laid back dude for the most part. BUT... if he sees a reflection of something on the tank wall from his lights... he will do the same thing or try to climb the tank walls. LOL --he is fun to watch. :)

 Ty Nina for responding I was just curious cuz he has never done it i thought maybe he was too hot from his light so i turned it off and took him out back for awhile let him run around the garden and now he is back in havent looked at him yet but ya i was jus curious he is a very laid back as well his women "nana" is lucky to have him when we got her she was in a tank with a very dominant male and she is thankful that she is in the tank with red now when we first got her she use to wait to eat when red went to sleep sneakin around to eat i guess the other male wouldnt let her eat and now she is so bright yellow we call her nana lol like banana when we got her she was brown i guess from stressin so ya red is our lil man lol we have eggs incubating almost time about half way done we actually saw the babies moving in the eggs last night was exciting i said we are gonna be grandparents LMAO thanks again Nina :)
