 Sweating

Okay-
So my eggs have been incubated for 60 days, they have always been nice and plump, but today they have started to look like they had moisture droplets on the outside of the eggs. Some are more profound than others. The liquid appears to be thick and clear, but with a SLIGHT, and VERY SLIGHT yellowish tint. They have not started to shrivel, they are still plump.
Is this average? I didn’t see this the past few days, it just happened overnight.
If this is natural, does it usually happen say 24-48 hours of hatching?

Hi my eggs did,nt shrivel either .That is probably where the baby has started to make its way out, they bite a tiny hole and the liquid starts to come out and soon you should see a little nose.Good luck and enjoy,it is very exciting.Babs

Should I transfer the eggs from the vermiculite to the moist paper towels at this point?

Never- they hatch in the vermiculite...the sweating is probably meaning hatching soon...I will try to pot pics of my sweating eggs, LOl. Good luck and keep us posted.

I hope you are about to have babies...be sure to keep them in separate containers for at least 24 hours inside the incubator...mist a cut out paper towel with water...make sure there is holes in the lid...transfer to individual container...and wait on the next ones to do the same...Take good care Beth

I just read the reply to your thread and want to make myself clear... the new babies should stay in their individual container in the incubator for at least 24 hours...before transferring to hatchling 20 gallon tank...Take care Beth P.S. Sorry if I confused you...b

I only have one baby out and he has been in the incubator on a paper towel for 24 hours

Should I go ahead and transfer him to the tank or leave him in there until the other come completely out?
