 Vaporizer question, please read..

Hi guys, I have an odd question but it is important and something I really need to know.

Ok with the weather change and using our fire place now the air in the house is just dead dry and making us sick.
So we went to walmart and bought a Vaporizer it’s a Vicks Vaporizer but right now we are just keeping water in it at night by the bed to keep some moister in the air.

Now what I need to know is can we actually buy and us the Vicks in it (that will help us) or will it harm the reptiles?

I don’t know who to ask or where to go to find out so I’m hoping to come across someone who uses the Vicks Vaporizer with reptiles in the house.

That’s a good question.

I am sorry I don’t know the answer. You might give your vet a call and see what they say. If you find out please post it on here for the rest of us. With a grandchild that catchs everything that is going around, I am bound to need a vaporizer in the near future.

I’m trying hard to find out but no luck, no one will bother to speak up.. And I know reptile people out there some where uses them in their home.
It would help it if other people would ask around for us too.

Hi Guys,
You know I don’t see in anyway this should harm the reptiles...The vaporizer isn’t in the viv with the reptiles...and really vicks is a vaso-dilator (opens up the air passages) I really don’t think it will harm them.....but you know what you can do is contact a vet and ask them and see what they say....
